Important information about the Trev + MINDA integration.

Sync your MINDA livestock data for top-notch decision making. Integrating Trev and MINDA aligns your two systems to save time, reduce pain and increase your confidence in your records.

A few housekeeping matters about the Trev + MINDA Integration before we get started:

What data is shared through the Trev + MINDA integration?

The Trev + MINDA integration enables the transmission of livestock events from MINDA to Trev. At this time, no other MINDA information is transferred, such as animal health, weight or genetic information.

In this instance, livestock events refer to:

  • Purchases

  • Sales

  • Deaths

  • Culls

  • Natural Increases (births)

  • Missing / Found

  • Class Change In / Class Change out

Note: Transfer In/Out events are not recorded by MINDA and therefore will not be recorded via the Trev + MINDA integration. These can be added separately directly in to Trev however this may cause some misalignment between MINDA and Trev stock reconciliations.

Individual event data includes:

  • Date the livestock event took place

  • Number of animals

  • Stock class

  • Event type

Note: Cause of Loss for Deaths and Cull events are not recorded by MINDA and therefore will not be recorded via the Trev + MINDA integration. These must be added by editing the livestock event in Trev.

How will your Trev data be shared?

Your data will be transmitted via secure API from MINDA to Trev. This data will load into the stock module of your weekly Trev report.

Data will sync automatically overnight, but you also have the option to trigger a manual sync at any time from within the manage data screen in our integrations section and within the weekly report itself.

Who can create and maintain the Trev + MINDA integration?

A user must have Full Access or Authorised access in Trev to connect a farm to a MINDA account.

The connection settings for a farm that is mapped to MINDA can be updated by any user with Full Access or Authorised access to that farm in Trev.

Once a farm is mapped to MINDA any user with sufficient access to create or edit data in Trev (Full Access, Authorised, Editor and Reporter) can alter the data that is pulled through from MINDA.

Trev + MINDA Integration Fineprint

It is important to note that any use of the Trev + MINDA integration is subject to both Trev and MINDA's Service Terms and, for the avoidance of doubt, any data transmitted to Trev is subject to the Trev terms (including terms pertaining to Ownership of Data).

The respective Trev and MINDA general Terms and Conditions can be found here:
