The land area classification section can be found in the Pasture module. It helps to understand how much, if any, of the effective milking platform is not currently in the pastoral grazing rotation.

When you click on Add Another in green you will be prompted to enter the usage and area of land that should be deducted from the effective milk platform. You can add as many entries as you need, so if you have an area out for crops and some paddocks shut up for silage, these should both be entered here (separately!) as they need to be excluded from your pastoral grazing rotation.

Don’t forget! The area you record here will be deducted from the effective milk platform to calculate the remaining area in pasture. This is used to calculate an Adjusted Stocking Rate.
