What are Triggers?

Written by Scott Townshend

Triggers are rule based alerts to help identify trends and anomalies in your farm data, even faster. The Analytics section of Trev is a great place to view and analyse your farm data, and with Triggers these areas of interest are brought to your attention automatically.

For example, a basic Trigger might be “if Average Pasture Cover is less than 1900 kgDM/ha”. A user with this Trigger in place would then be informed if any farms have an observed Average Pasture Cover below 1900 kgDM/ha rather than having to actively search through Analytics to discover this.

Triggers are user specific rather than farm specific. This means that each user associated with a farm can create a set of Triggers that is relevant to their roles and responsibilities on that farm.
