Understanding the Positions Section

The Positions section (represented by the House icon) provides a transparent, real-time look at every asset currently held in your brokerage account. This view is designed to give you a granular understanding of your exposure and the performance of individual holdings.

Real-Time Account Overview

At the top of the Positions view, you can see a snapshot of your account's current financial standing. This includes:

  • Net Liquidation

  • Cash Balance

  • Gross Position

  • Buying Power

  • Position Count

Detailed Holdings Table

Beneath the account summary, you will find a comprehensive table detailing your specific positions. This table tracks the following data points for every asset:

  • Symbols (Tickers)

  • % of Total Account Value

  • Unrealized P&L (USD)

  • MKT Value (USD)

  • Quantity

  • Currency

  • Instrument (Stock, Option)

Customization and Reporting

The Positions section is built for flexibility, allowing you to view and manage your data as needed:

  • Edit and Adjust Columns: You can customize the table view to prioritize the metrics that matter most to you.

  • Export Data: For external analysis or record-keeping, you can export all your current position data in CSV form.
