Updating on iOS
For iOS, Napps uses the same Bundle ID, which allows us to update your app over the existing version. This means:
Automatic Updates: Customers with automatic updates enabled will receive the new version shortly after it’s published.
Manual Updates: For customers with automatic updates turned off, consider other strategies to encourage updates. You might:
Send an email or post on social media, inviting users to download the latest version.
Offer an incentive, like a Custom Banner with a discount code, visible only to customers on the newest app version.
Updating on Android
The Android update process is slightly more complex, but don’t worry—your Napps implementation specialist will handle it for you.
What’s Needed for Migration
When migrating, most steps of the app creation process can be skipped. The only exception is inviting Napps as a collaborator to access necessary app settings and permissions.
