To host an app in the App Store, you will need to create an Apple developer account.

Important Notes:

  • There is an annual $99 fee. To prevent any disturbance to your account, we recommend setting this to auto-renew upon creation. If you have an existing Apple Developer Account, you can migrate from an individual account to a company one. Learn how to do that in this guide.

  • Before starting your Apple Developer enrollment, you will need to register for your D-U-N-S number. Once your DUNS number is activated, you can begin the enrollment process.

Step 1

Step 2

Click on the button that says "Start your enrollment"

Step 3

If you see this screen you just need to click on "Continue enrollment on the web"

Step 4

Next you need to choose "Company / Organization" and click the button "Continue"

Step 5

Now, enter your Legal Entity Name. Next, fill in the D-U-N-S Number. If you don’t have one yet, please check our article.

Step 6

Most of the information will be automatically filled in from your D&B profile.

You’ll only need to enter your website link, phone number, confirm your signing authority, and add your work email (this must match your website’s domain).

After just click "Submit now".

Step 7

Once you’ve submitted your details, you should see a confirmation message from Apple. Within 24-48 hours, Apple will reach out by phone or email to verify your enrollment.

After verification, Apple will send a follow-up email with instructions to pay the annual $99 enrollment fee.

To complete this, go to your Apple Developer dashboard, enter your billing information, and select ‘Continue’ to finalize the payment and setup of your Apple Developer account.

Next Steps

After your Apple Developer account is created, payment processing may take up to 24 hours. Once completed, you can invite your Implementation Specialist to join your account!

For instructions, see our guide on inviting your Implementation Specialist to your Apple Developer account.
