Why Create a Visual Call-to-Action?

Following a positive experience engaging with content, the call-to-action allows users to opt into learning more about the advertiser by traveling from the article to a landing page on the brand's website. In doing so, these consumers are moving further down the consideration path.

The Call-to-Action button is the last element your audience interacts with, so you want to leave them with something short and instructive to drive clicks. Create a 3–5 word CTA that adds value and extends the story, then place it at the bottom of the article (for longer articles you can also place in the middle).

Template

[Desired Brand Goal] + [Direct Button Copy]

Examples:

  • Ready to Book Your Adventure? [Start Here]

  • Choose a Doctor That Puts Patient Care First [Learn More]

  • It's Time to Start Saving [Find a Bank]
