In the Map menu, there are several functions you can use.
In this article, we will explain the basics of the map menu and how to set it up.
At the end of the article, you will find a list of all the functions in the map menu and links to the articles about how to use them.
📍 OVERVIEW OF THE MAP MENU
On the map, you can see all your vehicles in real-time:
On the left, you will see a list of all the vehicles with their statuses.
On the right you will see the locations of the vehicles, driving direction, and status.
The vehicles on the list are ranked by their statuses:
Moving vehicles.
Parked vehicles.
Vehicles which location information hasn't been updated for a while (possible GPS-data transfer problem).
💡 In case you have created vehicle groups, you can choose them from the drop-down menu above (Filter by vehicle group).
💡 If you have a lot of vehicles in your system, it's easier to use the search box to find a specific car (Search for the vehicle).
📍 STATUSES
Green -> Drive (vehicle in motion and the direction)
Blue „P“ Park (the vehicle isn't moving, ignition off)
Blue “II“ Idle time (ignition on, engine working)
Red „!“ Possible device/circuit malfunction (it's also possible that the GPS device is out of range or hasn't updated the location information for at least 15 minutes)
📍 RIGHT MOUSE CLICK ON THE CARD
When clicking on the map with your right mouse button, you can:
copy addresses and coordinates
open addresses in Google Maps
view addresses in Google Maps street view
view the nearby areas
plan routes
mark the center of the map
📍 MAP SETTINGS
The settings icons can be seen on the right of the screen:
choose map layers
settings
open route planner
send a message
search for vehicle presence

💡 We have 12 map layers you can choose from.
SETTINGS ⚙
Here you can make the map view suitable for yourself:
When activating the "Vehicle names" function, you will see the vehicle and driver name next to the icon.
When activating the „Group vehicles“ function, nearby vehicles will be shown as one icon.
💡 When clicking on the grouped vehicle icon, you will see all the cars under it.
💡 The grouped vehicles will be shown individually also when you zoom into the map.
💡 Grouping vehicles is most useful when you have a lot of cars in your system.
ROUTE PLANNER 🚚
💡 Plan the most optimal route by just clicking on the map and setting up waypoints (you will see the total route length and travel time).
MESSAGES 📩
💡 When clicking on this icon you can notify your drivers about sudden changes and send them destination addresses or coordinates fast (via SMS/EMAIL).
SEARCH FOR VEHICLE PRESENCE 🚗🚚
💡 You can choose an area on the map and check which of your vehicles have been here and when.
