This function allows you to send messages to your contacts fast via SMS or email from inside your Navirec system.

You can send messages in two ways:

From the messaging menu.
In map view.

1. SENDING MESSAGES FROM THE MESSAGING MENU

To see all your sent messages, go to Messaging

To see sent short messages (SMS), click on the filter button "SMS".
To see e-mails, click on "e-mails".
To search for a certain message, type a keyword in the search box and click on the magnifier icon.

To send a new message, click on "Send SMS/Send a new e-mail"

Choose a driver you want to send the message to from the drop-down menu.
The phone number/e-mail box will be filled out automatically.
Choose the message format.
Add a heading to your message.
Type in your message.
Click on "Send message".

💡 Please note that sending a short message (SMS) requires a fee.

2. SENDING MESSAGES FROM THE MAP VIEW

You have two options to send messages in the map view:

🗨 If you prefer to send a free form message, then open the map menu and click on the envelope icon on the top right of your screen:

Choose a driver from the drop-down menu
The phone number/email address field is filled out automatically
Choose the message format
Add a heading to your message
Write your message
Click on "Send message"

🗨 If you want to send a certain address, coordinates, or Google maps image, right-click on the right point on the map:

Click on the envelope icon next to address/coordinates or Open in Google maps.
Fill in the fields.
Send the driver the address, coordinates or Google maps view by clicking on "Send message".
