The area function allows you to create areas on the map and set up notifications about events happening there 🌍🔔📲
By marking areas with different colors, you can now easily distinguish between different groups of areas
Using the information collected from the areas you can reckon working hours, check the time spent on loading and unloading goods, analyze the effectiveness of your works, etc.
💡 If you wish to collect specific information about events happening in the areas, we advise you to create a corresponding report
To see all the created areas, go to Map -> Areas
📍 ADDING A NEW AREA
The most convenient way to create a new area is using an address that you can type in the search box seen on the top left corner of your screen (you may also choose the desired area on the map).
Click on the green button "Add new area".
Choose a circle or polygon from the drop-down menu.
Type in a name for the area, make the additional changes if needed, and mark the area on the map.
You can use the information collected from the area in reports, notifications, and projects (choose from "Use area in" section).
You can add the new area in a group if need be.
Specify the type of trip that starts and ends in the area.
Set the color of the area.
Add a description if needed.
Click on "Save".
💡 To collect the information into reports you should first go to the menu Messaging -> Notifications and set up area based notifications for system use
💡 Also, additional data fields linked with the areas should first be added to your reports
