Once the necessary equipment has been installed on the vehicles and the account has been interfaced, a new menu button Tachographs will appear in your Navirec program.
💡 In order to download the tachograph data, you must first download the Navirec TachoCard program to your computer and link your company card and employee driver cards to the Navirec solution.
📍 DOWNLOAD NAVIREC TACHOCARD SOFTWARE
To download the program, go to Tachographs > Client app.
Select the appropriate operating system (Mac, Windows, Linux) by clicking on the logo.
A new window will open - click on Save to download the program to your computer.
When the download is complete, click on the file to open it.
A Windows security warning appears - click on Run anyway on the left to run the program.
💡 It is a secure application and it does not pose any threat to your computer, the program is just new for Windows.
The Navirec TachoCard application is now installed on your computer - you can always find it on your taskbar or on the desktop
📍 REGISTRATION OF YOUR COMPANY CARD IN THE NAVIREC TACHOCARD APPLICATION
In the next window that opens, log in using the same username and password when logging in to your Navirec solution.
💡 Make sure that an ID card reader is connected to your computer and your company card is inserted into it.
Click the blue +Add card button in the top corner of the screen and fill in the gaps with the correct information:
- Account name
- Name
- Card number
- Country
- Start and end of validity
Finally, click Save
💡 Once the card is registered, you can close the program (it will continue to run in the background).
💡 After the registration process, it is possible to download data from driver cards and tachographs to your Navirec account.
📍 ADDING COMPANY AND DRIVER CARDS TO NAVIREC SOLUTION
The last important step is to link the company and driver cards with the Navirec solution, which allows you to see drivers' working, rest, and driving times and vehicle data in real-time and download the data remotely.
ADDING A NEW CARD
Go to Tachographs -> Cards -> New Tachograph Card
Fill in the blanks with the correct information and save the data.
💡 To add a company card, select Company from the drop-down menu.
💡 To add a driver card, select Driver from the drop-down menu.
NB: In order to add a driver card to the system, a driver must also be added to the Navirec solution in order to link them.
💡 Add all driver cards whose data you want to monitor and download in real-time.
All the driver cards you have added are visible under the Cards menu, where you can also quickly find them using search (by entering the card number or the name of the driver).
