Web solution
📍Notification list, filters, and search engine
In the Navirec web solution, select Notifications from the top menu bar, clicking on which opens a list of all created notifications.
You can also see filters at the top of the list - notification rules, vehicles, contacts, areas, and time - by which you can quickly find the desired notification.
Use the search engine to sort out a specific notification.
To enlarge the image, click on it with the right mouse button and select "Open image in new tab"
📍Notification rules
Notification rules are the principles based on which the Navirec solution sends out automatic notifications. You can define the rules yourself, and this will be discussed in the next subsection.
For example, you can create a rule that a notification will be sent to the specified contact(s) if vehicles exceed the permitted driving speed, the temperature in the refrigerator rises above the permitted limit, fuel was removed from the vehicle's fuel tank, etc.
You can see all previously created rules as a list by clicking on the "Notification rules" menu button, and you can filter and search using the search engine.
📍Creating a new rule (notification)
You can set new rules by clicking the "+ new rule" button. In essence, you start creating a new automatic notification.
Let's say you want to create an automatic notification that would alert you when fuel was removed from the vehicle's tank (possible fuel theft).
click the "+ new rule" button
select the notification type from the list (e.g. "Fuel removed")
The "Add condition" window opens, where you can specify the indicator on which the notification is triggered (liters in the case of fuel removal, km/h when exceeding the permitted driving speed, etc.)
Next, you can change the name of the rule and set the remaining parameters that the solution must take into account when sending the notification:
when the notification is sent (when the activity started, ended, started, or finished)
the delay advances notification conditions (+ add additional conditions)
vehicles and/or groups of vehicles to which the rule applies
recipients of the notification (+ add new contacts immediately)
delivery method (specified by you or specified by the recipient)
custom message (or add custom text if desired)
You can see a preview of the notification in the right corner of the screen in the app, e-mail, and SMS view
The notification also contains the date, time, and the exact location of the vehicle at the time the notification is sent
If everything fits, click the "Save" button and the new notification rule is ready (you can see it under the "Notification rules" menu)
If you want to change or deactivate (delete) a notification rule, click on the desired rule in the list and change the necessary fields or press the red "Deactivate rule" button
📍Column management
You can configure the list of notification rules to suit yourself by clicking on the "Manage columns" button.
You can determine which columns are visible in the list and which are not, and arrange the columns in the order that suits you. Don't forget to save the changes.
MOBILE APP
📍List of notifications and default notification methods
If you have set up in-app notifications, they will be displayed to you as a list under the "Notifications" menu in the app by default. You can determine the notification method by pressing the "⚙️" icon.
The exception is when the sender of the notification has specified e-mail or SMS as the delivery method in the rules.
📍Notification rules
In the app, you can see the created rules as a list in exactly the same way as in the web solution. You can also change and deactivate rules by clicking on them.
📍Creating a new rule (notification)
Creating a new rule follows the same principles as in the online solution.
Click the "New rule" button to get started. Set the rule details as you would on the web and save your created rule by pressing the "Create rule" button.
