A Smart Probe may become a little sluggish is if it has been left on for a long time without restarting. Like all technology it sometimes needs to be turned off and on again as a sort of ‘refresh’. If your Smart Probe is starting to be a bit slow, we recommended that you reboot the device. From the main menu, click on the orange cog, scroll down to the bottom of the options and select ‘reboot’. The device will prompt you to answer ‘are you sure?’ To go through with it, select ‘yes’. The device will then proceed to automatically turn off and on again. After this, it will be ready to use as normal.

Occasionally, the software your Smart Probe runs on will require updates! You can check this by going into the settings cog, scrolling down the options and selecting ‘check for updates’. If a software update is available, click on the update and select ‘install’. This will also ensure the device is running as smoothly as possible.
