The Smart Probe needs to be connected to the internet in order to transmit temperature readings over to the Navitas platform. If the Smart Probe is connected, it will display a small Wi-Fi icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The number of orange bars displayed is indicative of the connected network’s signal strength. If the probe is not connected to a network, the word ‘offline’ will appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Even if your Smart Probe is offline, you can still use the device as normal and all the data will be stored until it re-establishes a connection. Once it reconnects to a network, all of the stored data will be transferred over to the platform.
