A new feature has been released which means calories and portion sizes will now appear on your food labels in line with recent legislation changes. To use this new feature you must complete the following two steps.

Update your product calories in the Platform

1) Log in to your Digital Food Safety Platform

2) On the left-hand toolbar select ‘Products Menu’ then ‘Edit Menu’

3) The products menu will then appear. Click on the ‘Edit’ cog on the item you want to amend

4) A pop up will appear for the product, click ‘Additional Info’ on the top toolbar.

5) The below screen will appear. Type in the required calories, portions, and portion size (kcal). Once complete click update.

6) Complete these steps for each product.

Update the Allergen App

All updates are linked to the google play store. It is recommended to sign into your Google account, if you do not have an account create one there free.

1) Open the Google Play Store app

2) At the top right, tap the profile icon.

3) Tap Manage apps and device. Apps with an update available are labelled 'Update available'.

4) Tap Update.
