KYC Verification (Transfer)

Collect and verify Know Your Customer documentation as part of the LP transfer process.

Overview

This section allows the GP side to conduct Know Your Customer verification on the Transferee by adding requirements and reviewing the Transferee's responses. Each requirement follows a strict Requirement β†’ Response β†’ Review loop, and each requirement card displays:

  • Requirement status : In Progress or Completed.

  • Requirement details: Who added the requirement and the date and time it was submitted.

  • Requirement text

  • Response area

Accessing This Section

The KYC Verification section is accessible to users on the GP Side (GP, GP Counsel, GP Administrator) and the Transferee Side (Transferee, Transferee Counsel, Transferee Administrator).

Transferor-side users (Transferor, Transferor Counsel, Transferor Administrator) do not have access to this section.

From the Transfer Overview page, click on KYC Verification under Transfer in the left sidebar.

For the GP: Managing KYC Requirements

To add a KYC requirement:

  1. Click 'Add Requirement' in the top-right corner.

  2. Complete the requirement fields in the pop-up.

  3. Click Add Requirement to submit it to the Transferee.

The Transferee side will be notified that a new KYC requirement has been added. Once the Transferee responds, you can:

  1. Review the response and any attached documentation.

  2. Ask a follow-up question if further clarification or additional documentation is needed. The requirement will remain In Progress until you are satisfied.

  3. Approve the response when satisfied. The requirement status will change to Completed.

For the Transferee: Submitting KYC Documentation

As the GP adds KYC requirements, they will appear on the KYC Verification page. For each requirement:

  1. Review the requirement details.

  2. Provide your response in the designated field.

  3. Attach any supporting documentation.

  4. Submit your response.

The GP side will be notified that a response has been submitted. If the GP requests further clarification via a follow-up question, it will appear within the same requirement card below your response.

Once the GP approves a requirement, the card status will update to Completed.

Completing the KYC Verification Step

The KYC Verification step is marked as Completed only when all individual requirements have been approved by the GP side.
