How payouts work

Online and in-store card payments typically take 2 business days to be paid into your bank account.

Payments are bundled into payouts - e.g. if two customers have paid today:

  • Payment #1: £10

  • Payment #2: £20

In 2 business days, you will receive a payout of £30 (minus fees).

Here are some general examples of the timing:

Customer payment

Payout to you

TUE 1st: £10

THU 3rd: £10

WED 2nd: £10

FRI 4th: £10

THU 3rd: £10

MON 7th: £10

FRI 4th: £10

TUE 8th: £10

SAT 5th: £10

SUN 6th: £10

MON 7th: £10

WED 9th: £30

By default, the payout schedule is daily (excluding weekends and bank holidays), but we can configure it to be weekly or monthly on a nominated day at your request.

Within Settings > Online Payments > [Transfers], your current balance shows the pending amount for future payouts. This figure will update with new payments/refunds. Payouts that have been created (if any) will be listed below it in order of recency:

You can tap Details against a payout to view its breakdown of payments/refunds.

Checking payments and payouts

On an appointment/payment record where an online or in-store card payment has been recorded, you can tap it in the Payment box to view information about it:

The [View Payout] button takes you to the payout it was included in.

You can view all your payouts within Settings > Online Payments > [Transfers].

About refunds

If an online refund is issued, the amount is immediately deducted from your current balance (affecting the next payout), and reaches the customer's bank account within 5-10 business days.

As an example, if you have two payments in your balance that are due for a payout tomorrow:

  • Payment #1: £10

  • Payment #2: £10

  • Current balance: £20

If a £5 refund is issued today, your balance would become £15, payable to you in tomorrow's payout. The payout breakdown would include:

  • Payment #1: £10

  • Payment #2: £10

  • Refund: -£5

  • Payout: £15 (minus fees)

Why has a payout not arrived?

  • Payouts are only made on working days (e.g. Monday - Friday), so if a weekly or monthly payout is scheduled for a Saturday or a Sunday it will be made on the following working day.

  • Payouts may be delayed over bank holidays until the following business day.

  • If a payout does not arrive on schedule, please wait an extra day in case your bank experiences a slight delay in receiving it.

  • You will not receive a payout if your balance is negative (due to refunds), or below the minimum payout amount (e.g. £1 / €1 / $1 - this may vary by country). A payout will be scheduled once you exceed this minimum.
