What is this Canadian sales taxes update all about?

As you may know, Neatro is a Canadian company based in Montréal, Québec. 🍁

And good news, we are growing as a company!

As of December 1st, 2021, Neatro will automatically start collecting sales taxes for all transactions made with our Canadian customers.

All Neatro Premium accounts with a billing address registered in Canada will be involved.

I'm a Neatro Premium user, and my billing address is registered in Canada. Do I need to do anything to make this Canadian sales taxes update work?

You don't need to do anything at all :) Your next billing cycle - from December 1st, 2021 - will be automatically adjusted.

Note that this sales taxes update work with both monthly and yearly Premium plans.

The billing address registered in my Neatro account is located outside of Canada. Will I be impacted by this Canadian sales taxes update?

Not at all.

Only our fellow Canadian customers will see their billing information impacted by the sales taxes update.

What are the tax rates we apply for our Canadian customers?

We use the table below to apply the right sales taxes for our Canadian customers.

There are three types of sales taxes in Canada: PST, GST, and HST. See below for an overview of sales tax amounts for each province and territory.

How can I access my billing portal?

First, you need to be an account Administrator to do so. Please check this article if you want more information about the different Neatro user roles.

As an Administrator, just follow those steps:

1/ Log in to your Neatro account - https://app.neatro.io/

2/ Click on your avatar's button at the top-right side of your screen, then access your "Account settings".

3/ On your Member information page, click on the "Manage my subscription" button.

4/ You are now in your subscription portal. You can check your invoices and manage your Billing information from there.
