What is a BV?

A BV (besloten vennootschap) is a Dutch private limited company β€” the most common legal structure for businesses in the Netherlands. It offers limited liability, meaning your personal assets are generally protected from business debts, although directors can still be held liable in certain circumstances such as mismanagement.

A BV requires at least one shareholder and one director (which can be the same person), a minimum share capital of €0.01, and registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK).

Neno helps you incorporate a BV entirely online, handling the notary process and KvK registration.
