Neno Cards: Physical & Virtual Cards Guide

Neno Cards: Physical & Virtual Cards

Your Neno account includes access to Mastercard debit cards β€” both physical and virtual. This article explains how to order, activate, and manage your cards.

Types of Cards

Physical Cards

Physical Mastercard debit cards are delivered to your registered address. To order a physical card:

  1. Go to Cards in the sidebar

  2. Click Add card and select Physical card

  3. Confirm your delivery address

  4. The card will be sent by post (delivery typically takes 5–10 business days)

When your physical card arrives, you need to activate it before use. Open the card in your Neno dashboard and follow the activation steps.

Virtual Cards

Virtual cards are generated instantly and can be used immediately for online payments. To create a virtual card:

  1. Go to Cards in the sidebar

  2. Click Add card and select Virtual card

  3. The card is created instantly with a unique card number, expiry date, and CVV

Virtual cards are useful for online subscriptions, separating spending categories, or providing team members with individual payment methods.

Mobile Payments

Apple Pay

To add your Neno card to Apple Pay:

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone

  2. Tap the + button to add a new card

  3. Follow the prompts to add your Neno Mastercard

  4. Complete any verification steps

Once added, you can use Apple Pay for contactless payments in stores, online, and in apps.

Google Pay

To add your Neno card to Google Pay:

  1. Open the Google Pay app on your Android device

  2. Tap Add a payment method

  3. Enter your Neno card details or scan the card

  4. Complete verification

Viewing Card Details

To view your card number, expiry date, CVV, or PIN:

  1. Go to Cards in the sidebar

  2. Select the card

  3. Use the Reveal options to show sensitive details

For physical cards, you can also view your PIN here if you've forgotten it.

Spending Limits

Each card and account membership has spending limits that control how much can be spent per transaction and per period. To view your current limits, select your card in the Cards section and review the limit information.

If you need higher limits, you can request an adjustment from your account settings or contact support. Limit changes may require approval from the legal representative.

Card Security

Blocking a Card

If your card is lost, stolen, or you suspect unauthorized use, block it immediately:

  1. Go to Cards in the sidebar

  2. Select the card

  3. Click Block β€” this takes effect instantly

Blocking a card prevents all new transactions. You can unblock it later if the card is found, or request a replacement.

3D Secure

Online payments may trigger 3D Secure (3DS) verification β€” an additional security check where you confirm the payment through a notification or code. This protects against unauthorized online card use.

PIN Lockout

If you enter your PIN incorrectly 3 times, the card is temporarily blocked. View your correct PIN in the Cards section of your dashboard, then make a successful chip-and-PIN transaction to unblock it.
