Common Joy elements

As you explore Joy, you'll notice certain elements appear frequently, making the system consistent and user-friendly. It can help to familiarize yourself with these elements.

Cards

Cards help you quickly view and access important information about assets (e.g., FlexDocs), users, tasks, and more. Each card provides a snapshot of key details—like progress, name, or due date—so you can easily scan and find what you need at a glance.

Panels

When you click on most objects in Joy (like assets or users), they open in a panel that gives you a quick summary and access to more details. Panels make navigation easy — you can close them at any time and pick up right where you left off.
