Who this is for:
NerdWallet customers who signed in with Apple and chose to hide their email, and now need to find the private relay address (@privaterelay.appleid.com) associated with their NerdWallet account.
Why you might need this
When you use "Sign in with Apple" and choose to hide your email, Apple creates a unique private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com. NerdWallet uses this address as the email for your account — not your real Apple email address.
You may need to find this address if:
You're trying to recover access to a NerdWallet account you created with Apple Sign-In
You have two NerdWallet accounts and need help from our support team to locate the right one
You want to sign back into your original NerdWallet account after accidentally creating a new one
On iPhone or iPad
Open Settings and tap your name at the top
Tap Sign-In & Security (on some devices: Sign in with Apple or Password & Security)
Tap Apps Using Apple ID
Find and tap NerdWallet
Your private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com will be displayed here
On Mac
Open System Settings and click your name
Click Sign-In & Security
Click Apps Using Apple ID
Find and select NerdWallet
Your private relay address will be displayed here
On the web
Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple account
Go to Sign-In and Security
Click Apps Using Apple ID
Find NerdWallet
Your private relay address will be displayed here

Common questions
Q: What if I don't see NerdWallet listed under Apps Using Apple ID?
If NerdWallet doesn't appear in that list, you may not have used Apple Sign-In to create your NerdWallet account, or the entry may have been removed. Try signing in with your email and password, or contact our support team for help.
Q: Can I change my NerdWallet account email to my real email instead of the relay address?
No — it's not possible to change the email address on a NerdWallet account that was set up with Apple Sign-In. If you need to use a different email address, you would need to close the current account and open a new one. Contact our support team if you need help with this.
Q: Is my data safe?
Yes. Finding or sharing your private relay address doesn't affect your NerdWallet account or data in any way.
