Ad-Hoc Testing

The Ad-Hoc Testing panel enables you to run spontaneous one-off tests between a selected agent and a destination. Based on the test type, the destination can be defined by another agent, IP address, or URL.

In Ad-Hoc, you can run multiple tests at the same time results from, simplifying test comparison and troubleshooting. The Ad-Hoc Testing panel supports Ping, DNS, HTTP, Traceroute, Iperf, Network Speed, VoIP, Custom Command, and Packet Capture tests.

Some options and tests are enabled or disabled based on the agent type selected as source, such as the interface selection option or packet capture only available for Wi-Fi sensors.
