To ensure the successful delivery of password reset and other important emails from our service, please follow the steps below to optimize your email server settings for messages from Netstock via Sendgrid.

Step 1: Whitelist Sendgrid IP Address

Ensure that your email server or firewall allows incoming traffic from Sendgrid's IP address

168.245.11.198

Step 2: Whitelist Domains

To ensure smooth delivery, add netstock.co and any other necessary domains to your email system's allowed list.

Step 3: Adjust Spam Filter Settings

Update your spam filter rules to prevent emails from Sendgrid from being marked as spam. Here are some suggestions:

  • Bypass spam filtering: Create rules to bypass spam checks for emails originating from netstock.co or our Sendgrid IP address 168.245.11.198

  • Add to trusted senders: Include our email address or domain in your email server’s list of trusted senders.

Step 4: Whitelist the Specific Email Address

To further ensure that our emails are delivered successfully, add our specific email address (usernotifications@netstock.co) to your list of trusted or allowed senders. This step may vary depending on the email system being used.

Examples of common email systems:

  • Microsoft Outlook/Exchange: Add the email address to the safe senders list.

  • Google Workspace: Use the admin console to create an allowlist entry for the email address.

  • Spam filtering services: Check your spam filter’s documentation for instructions on adding an email address to the trusted list

Step 5: Email Content and Security Checks

Some email filters may scan content for potential threats. Adjust these filters to recognize our password reset emails as legitimate if necessary. Here’s how:

  • Configure your email security software to trust emails with headers authenticated by Sendgrid.

  • Ensure that email content checks do not block or flag emails from us.
