How To: Interpret ERP vs App Data Differences

Quick Summary: If quantities or values differ between your ERP and the app, the difference is often timing-related or a result of how allocated demand is displayed.

Before Assuming Something Is Wrong

When the app was implemented, the imported data would have been validated against your ERP. If you notice a difference later, consider the following:

  • Sync Timing: Data is typically synced between your ERP and the app once per day.

  • In-day Activity Will Not Show Immediately: Transactions that have occurred during the day will not be reflected in the app.

  • Allocated Stock Displays Differently: Some data may show in the app differently, such as already allocated sales orders, which show in the allocated stock quantity (and not as outstanding sales orders)
