When you attempt to apply changes to a user, the app will perform a check on the user's email address to help reduce the chance of a typo being saved.
This check is performed when you create a new user, edit an existing user or you change your own password.
In rare cases, valid email addresses can be incorrectly flagged as invalid - for example, due to a temporary communication issue.
Should you be alerted to an "Invalid email address", please double check the exact spelling used and ensure it is correct. If you are satisfied, you may tick the checkbox "Use this email address anyway" to bypass the validation and try again.
The "Invalid email address" message will not necessarily prevent a new user from receiving their initial access email, provided the email address is correct and functional.
