Please note: This feature is only available in the advanced forecasting feature.

This functionality enables efficient bulk forecast modifications using a CSV file.

Navigate to Forecasts screen > Summary panel > Adjust items button.

Step 1: Download Items to a CSV File

  • Navigate to the multi-item manual forecast adjustment feature.

  • Filter the item list as needed.

  • Click "Download" to export the displayed items to a CSV file.

Step 2: Modify Forecasts in Spreadsheets

  • Open the downloaded CSV file (e.g., in Excel or Google Sheets).

  • The file contains the following monthly columns:

    • Hist: Sales history.

    • Computer: App-generated forecast.

    • Final: Current forecast (including manual adjustments).

    • Upload: Columns for forecast amendments (initially blank).

  • Enter desired forecast values in the corresponding "Upload" columns for the relevant months. Only modified months need to be populated.

  • To revert a manual forecast to the computer-generated forecast, copy the values from the "Computer" columns to the "Upload" columns.

  • Important: Retain Column A and all "Upload" columns (image below). Removing these will cause upload failure.

  • Save the modified CSV file.

  • Hint: The "Manual FC" column identifies manually adjusted forecasts.

Step 3: Upload CSV File

  • Click the "Upload" button.

  • Select "Choose file" and locate the saved CSV file.

  • The upload will start automatically.

  • Upon completion, a notification will indicate either a successful import or any processing errors.

  • Click "Reload now" to refresh the page with the updated forecasts.

Step 4: Apply Forecast Changes

  • Modified forecasts are not active until you click the "Apply" (tick) button.

  • To discard changes, click "Undo".

  • After reloading, adjusted forecasts will be highlighted in green.

  • Clicking "Apply" freezes all uploaded forecast changes.

  • Optionally, you can defrost uploaded forecasts that now match the computer forecast by selecting the provided checkbox, allowing future automatic adjustments. Deselect the checkbox to keep all uploaded forecasts frozen.

  • You can add a comment during this process. For record-keeping purposes, the comment will be applied to products with amended forecasts.

Step 5: Perform a Re-Process

  • A final data re-process is required for the forecast adjustments to impact ordering, classification, and status determination.
