The Learn step approach is divided into three pillars:

  • Setting inventory policies

  • Managing supply and demand risk

  • Performing critical reviews and placing correct orders

Each pillar consists of the same learning activities:

  • Instructor-led training (ILT) - During this training, we cover the fundamental inventory management concepts and take you through a generic demo of the basic app functionality. Each session is 1.5 hours long, with an opportunity to ask questions.

  • Learn task - This is where you can use your data to take what you learned during the ILT session and apply it in your app instance. This guided discovery will help cement the concepts discussed during the ILT. You can access the Learn task in your Learning Library (SIMON).

  • Review session - At this point, you have attended an ILT, completed your homework, and understand the basics of the pillar you are in.

    • If you are a new customer: The Review session is an opportunity to discuss more advanced questions or problems in your app with your Customer Success Consultant (CSC). It is, therefore, crucial that you arrive prepared. You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to ask more advanced questions that’ll take your inventory management skills to the next level.

    • If you are an existing customer: The Review session is an opportunity to discuss more advanced questions or problems in your app with your Custodian or peers. Schedule some time with them before your next ILT session.

If you still have questions or don’t have a peer to assist you, you can make use of our Professional Services. This is a paid-for service that offers the following:

Advisory and consulting: An inventory health check, advanced customer training, S&OP, inventory policy modeling, and advanced demand planning.

Technical: Connect Netstock to new ERPs, custom reports, script changes, and modifications to system structure.

Advanced training: Strategic planning, demand planning, distribution planning, manufacturing planning, and advanced configuration.

Now that you’re excited about attending the ILT series, where do you sign up?
