The Learn step approach is divided into four pillars:
Introduction
Classification and forecasting
Supplier, lead time, risk and setting policies
Replenishment and critical review
Each pillar consists of the same learning activities:
Inventory Essentials series OR CoffeeChat series - During this training, we cover the fundamental inventory management concepts and take you through a generic demo of the basic app functionality. The CoffeeChat series offers a step by step solution for the novice customer, while the Inventory Essentials series is aimed at the more experienced customer. Both follow the same structure, so feel free to jump from one to the other if you require more clarification on a topic.
Learn task - This is where you can use your data to take what you learned during the ILT session and apply it in your app instance. This guided discovery will help cement the concepts discussed during the ILT. You can access the Learn task in your Learning Library (SIMON).
Review session - At this point, you have attended an ILT, completed your homework, and understand the basics of the pillar you are in.
If you are a new customer: The Review session is an opportunity to discuss more advanced questions or problems in your app with your Customer Success Consultant (CSC). It is, therefore, crucial that you arrive prepared. You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to ask more advanced questions that’ll take your inventory management skills to the next level.
If you are an existing customer: The Review session is an opportunity to discuss more advanced questions or problems in your app with your Custodian or peers. Schedule some time with them before your next ILT session.
If you still have questions or don’t have a peer to assist you, you can make use of our Professional Services. This is a paid-for service that offers the following:
Advisory and consulting: An inventory health check, advanced customer training, S&OP, inventory policy modeling, and advanced demand planning.
Technical: Connect Netstock to new ERPs, custom reports, script changes, and modifications to system structure.
Advanced training: Strategic planning, demand planning, distribution planning, manufacturing planning, and advanced configuration.
Now that you’re excited about attending the ILT series, where do you sign up?
