This setting will hide sales history older than the number of years specified from the display. This is useful if older sales are irrelevant and no longer a true reflection of how the company is selling today.

Sales history that occurred long ago is not always as relevant today as more recent sales data. The business may have improved or a pandemic may have occurred. For various reasons, it may be beneficial to limit the amount of history displayed to focus on the most relevant sales history.

NOTE: This setting only affects the display. Displaying less history makes it easier to see and interpret details about the history that is shown. The minimum setting is 3 years. Because the forecast engine uses up to 3 years of history, it isn’t possible to hide history that impacts forecasting.
