How your information is handled depends on where you live: - EU users: Inside the app we only collect your year of birth and gender. Your typing patterns, scores, and Journal entries are linked to your User ID -- not to your name or contact details, which are held by your clinical partner, not by Neurocast. So from our side, your data is effectively anonymous. - U.S. users (prescribed use): During registration, personally identifiable information (full name, phone, email, date of birth, gender) is collected so we can send your Login Code and prepare clinical reports for your doctor. Inside the app, your typing data is linked to your User ID, not your name. Your doctor receives reports tied to your identity; Neurocast's research team works only with anonymized, aggregated data. In both cases, the typing data that powers your scores never contains the words you type -- only the patterns of how you type.
Is my data really anonymous?
