Which privacy laws protect me?

The privacy protections that apply to you depend on where you live: - EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland: Your data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) -- the strongest data protection law in the world. Because Neurocast is a Dutch company, GDPR is our baseline standard for all users. - United States (clinical study participants): Your data is additionally protected by HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) through formal agreements between Neurocast and the partner institution. - United States (direct app users): While HIPAA does not formally apply (Neurocast is not a healthcare provider), our security and privacy practices are designed to meet or exceed HIPAA standards. Neurocast also holds ISO 27001 certification for information security management.
