At NewsAnchored, we believe in publishing high-quality, legally compliant content — and that includes visuals. If you or your team submit AI-generated images as part of your article or press release, this guide outlines what’s allowed and what’s not.

✅ What You Can Submit

We allow AI-generated images under the following conditions:

  • You created the image yourself using tools like DALL·E, Midjourney (on a paid plan), or other commercial-use approved software.

  • The image is abstract, concept art, or editorial in nature — not meant to resemble real people, events, or photos.

  • It includes a simple disclosure label, such as:
“This image was generated using AI.”

  • The image does not include logos, trademarks, or brand designs.

  • Infographics are allowed only if the data is accurate and can be cited.

❌ What You Cannot Submit

We do not allow AI-generated images that:

  • Depict real people (especially celebrities or public figures), even if AI-generated.

  • Mimic the style or layout of a known photo, artwork, or brand.

  • Include logos, trademarks, or recognizable branded elements (like Apple, Nike, etc.).

  • Were created by someone else unless you have written permission from the creator.

  • Contain AI-generated data or infographics with unverifiable statistics.

If you’re unsure, we recommend reaching out to our editorial team before submitting the image.

⚠️ Submissions from Clients

If you’re submitting an AI-generated image:

You must confirm that you either created the image yourself, or have written permission to use and license it for publishing.

Without this confirmation, we may need to remove or replace the image for compliance reasons.
