In the final step of creating your mailing, the system automatically tests all embedded links using the "Check Links" function.
Requirements for a successful check:
Complete URL: Ensure that all links include the full URL, including the protocol (
http://orhttps://).Status Indicators:
A green checkmark indicates that the link is working correctly.
A red cross indicates a broken link. Click on "Fix Problem" to view the details of the faulty link.
Important note on delays and placeholders: The validation is based on the response time of the destination server. Links to social media channels or internal systems may experience delays, which can cause them to be flagged as broken. Additionally, links containing placeholders will always be marked as faulty during this check, as they require actual user data to function properly.
Recommended steps in case of error messages:
Check and correct the affected links directly within the editor.
If the error message persists, send yourself a test email and verify the links manually.
