Saving a newsletter as a template is highly beneficial if you want to reuse its visual layout – including the arrangement of content blocks, images, and text structures – for future campaigns. This significantly speeds up your creation process by providing a ready-made design foundation.
Important Note: A template only saves the design and structural layout. It does not function as a ready-to-send draft.
Step-by-Step Guide
To save a previously sent mailing or an existing draft as a template, please follow these steps:
Duplicate the Mailing: Navigate to Mailings → Newsletters in the main menu. Depending on its status, select either the Sent or Drafts tab. Click the Duplicate icon next to the mailing you wish to reuse.
Open the Draft: A new draft will automatically open, carrying over the exact design of the original mailing.
Save as Template: In the campaign creation process, proceed to Step 4 (Editor) and select the option Save as Template.
This option is available for both past campaigns and new drafts currently in progress. It applies to all template categories, including Standard, Premium, and custom templates.
