How to Add Attachments to Your Newsletter

Learn how to add file attachments or links to your newsletters. Guide on plan requirements, file size limits, supported formats, and best practices to optimize your email deliverability rates.

Prerequisites and Pricing Plans

The feature to directly attach files to your newsletters is available starting from the Standard Plan. This function is not available in the Lite Plan.

Step-by-Step Guide: Attaching Files Directly

To send a file as a direct email attachment, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Step 5 ("Send") during the newsletter creation process.

  2. Locate the "Attachments" section and click on "Add attachment".

  3. Select the desired file from your Media Library or upload a new file from your device.

Important Notes on File Size and Spam Risk:

  • Maximum Total Size: The total size of all attached files combined is strictly limited to 8 MB. Files exceeding this limit cannot be transmitted. A progress bar in the interface displays your current usage and remaining capacity.

  • Deliverability: Please note that direct attachments increase the likelihood of your email being flagged by spam filters. The larger the attachment, the higher the risk.

Alternative & Best Practice: Hosting Files via Link

To maximize your newsletter's deliverability, we recommend hosting your files in the Media Library rather than attaching them directly:

  1. Upload the file to your Media Library.

  2. Copy the file's URL and insert it as a hyperlink or button within your newsletter content.

  3. Advantage: This embeds the file cleanly, reduces the recipient's mailbox load, and significantly improves your overall deliverability rates.

Supported Formats and Media Library Capacity

The Media Library supports images, spreadsheets, and documents in the following formats:

JPG, PNG, GIF, DOC, XLSX, CSV, PDF

Note: Audio and video files are currently not supported for direct attachments or integration.

The storage capacity of your Media Library depends on your subscription plan:

  • Lite Plan: 50 MB storage limit

  • Standard Plan: 1 GB storage limit

  • Pro Plan: unlimited
