What is Facebook Page Request?
A Facebook request makes it possible for Nexta to get access to our customer's Facebook page and thereby do advertisement on the customer's behalf. However, the Facebook page will still belong to the current owner.
How to send a Facebook Page Request
Login to Nexta.io and go under Client Management In Client Management go to Facebook, and you will see the following:
Press Request Access to a Facebook Page. A pop up comes up looking like this:
Open the Facebook Page you want to request access for in a separate tab and copy the URL of the Facebook page.
Paste the copied Facebook Page URL in the field 'Facebook Page URL' and put in the e-mail address of the Facebook page owner. When both is filled out press save.
The pop-up window will close, and you receive the notification that the e-mail notification has been sent. You can also see that the Facebook Page request is pending.
How to accept a Facebook page request
It is important to note that you must log out of your Facebook account before you continue this step.
Now the owner of the Facebook page has received an e-mail. In this e-mail you must click 'Accept partner request' and afterwards you will be redirected to Facebook.
Now this pop-up will appear, and you need to click "continue as" to authenticate yourself.
The pop-up will appear where Nexta is asking for permission to the information you share - here it is very important that you give us permission to 'Ads' and 'Insights'.
You must click on 'continue' and this is how you accept the listed terms and conditions. By clicking 'continue' the permission is now given, and the pop-up will close.
When the request has been accepted
As soon as the page owner has accepted the request, the pending request will change to 'confirmed'.
When the status has changed to 'confirmed' you have successfully completed your Facebook request.
Requirements for accepting a Facebook Page Request
Before accepting the Facebook page request, it is important that you follow the below listed requirements. Here are the requirements:
The person accepting the request must be a page owner and be logged into the right account.
The account cannot be restricted for advertising (Facebook Help).
You cannot deselect any choices given when accepting the request.
