We all know the issue of low-quality ads, bad performance and lacking advertiser effect. But why is that?

Today, customers are seeing ads all over the internet and across platforms. This causes there is high competition for our attention. The better the quality of the ad the higher the chance for clicking and conversion.

Additionally, social and search platforms want to keep users on their platforms as long as possible. As users are spending more time on the platforms, Facebook and Instagram can show more ads and learn about the users. High-quality ads are improving the platform's user experience and keeping them on the platform. That is why social platforms reward good ads in performance and CPM.

Overall, it is clear that good ads are key to good performance across channels. But what is a good ad? We have now added a new feature that helps you get information about the quality of your ad text.

How it works

To start, use Nexta's ad builder to create an ad for a specific channel, such as Display or Facebook. After filling out the standard information, such as headline and description, you will see an automatic ad rating below the ad copy box.

In the background, our system uses AI to analyse the text entered and match it against best practices. These include the conciseness of the text, the inclusion of a clear call-to-action, and consistency between the headline, text and description.

Note: Ad ratings only evaluate the ad text quality and not the image quality

As a result, you will get a rating from one to five. If your ad has a rating of four or five, congratulations, it is a great ad. If you have a lower rating we will add dynamic recommendations on how to improve the ad copy.

The recommendations are a great way to learn how to improve ads and ultimately create better-performing ads. Let us look at some examples.

How to use the recommendations

You can use our dynamic recommendations to improve all parts of your ad, depending on the input. There are some overarching themes you can keep in mind.

Call to action (CTA)

You might be lacking a clear call to action (CTA), such as buy now, learn more, or download now. These give your user a clear understanding of what action you want them to do. Go through your ad and see if you have been clear across the different sections.

Product/Service information

Make sure you are clear about what service or product you are advertising. This allows the user to clearly understand what they are looking at. It is, for example, easy to focus too much on a certain discount or too many different products. Be clear and make it easy for your user.

Concise and clear text

Ensure that your text is as short and to the point as possible. This allows the user to instantly understand the message of the ad and he/she is more likely to conduct the desired action that is specified in the call-to-action (CTA).

If there are other recommendations you do not understand, feel free to contact Nexta support and we are happy to support you.
