Access the SALES tab and click on GEAR icon, at the right upper corner of the screen.
In option 29, select the option OPEN CASH DRAWER WITHOUT MAKING A SALE.
In option 30, select the printer to which the cash drawer is connected.
Click OK - F2 to save.
Done! 👍 Now you can open the cash drawer without having to print or make a sale. To do this, press ALT + F11 keys in your keyboard with the Nex open.
🌟 Tip: Cash drawers work as an extension of the printer. Therefore, for the drawer to work correctly, the printer driver must be installed in Windows.
