How to install a new point-of-sale (POS) terminal in a local network

  1. Go to www.nextar.com and click on FREE DOWNLOAD.

  2. Wait for the download to finish and open the downloaded FILE.

  3. Click on NEXT, read the SERVICE TERMS, and click on NEXT again.

  4. Select the option NETWORK MODE.

  5. Uncheck the option THIS COMPUTER IS MY SERVER and click on INSTALL!.

  6. Wait for the installation process and click on FINISH.

  7. Open NEXAdmin and select option 2. FIND THE SERVER AUTOMATICALLY.

Done! 👍 You have installed NEX as a terminal (POS) on a new computer.

🌟 Tip: if possible, use NEX on a network with an ethernet cable connection between the computers to improve the quality of your local network.
