An introduction to NextStage built-in reporting

NextStage Reports provides two complementary dashboards that help you monitor pipeline health, forecast revenue, and analyze opportunity performance. These dashboards support both executive-level visibility and detailed pipeline management.

Reports Dashboards Overview

NextStage includes two primary reporting dashboards:

Workspace Dashboard

View pipeline performance across your entire workspace

The Workspace Dashboard consolidates all opportunities you have access to across every pipeline. This view helps leadership monitor pipeline health, evaluate revenue forecasts, and track overall business performance.

At a glance

High-level KPIs

The Workspace Dashboard displays key performance indicators, including:

  • Total pipeline value

  • Total won value

  • Win rate

  • Forecasted revenue

These metrics provide a quick snapshot of pipeline strength and expected revenue.

Waterfall Chart

The Waterfall Chart shows:

  • Booked revenue from won opportunities

  • Forecasted revenue from open opportunities

This visualization helps you understand how secured revenue compares to future pipeline potential.

Pipeline Value Over Time

This chart shows how the total value of open opportunities changes over time.

Use this view to:

  • Monitor pipeline growth

  • Track pipeline trends

  • Identify increases or decreases in opportunity value


Pipeline Dashboard

Analyze and manage a specific pipeline

The Pipeline Dashboard focuses on a single pipeline and provides detailed insight into opportunity progression, stage health, and pipeline distribution. This view helps business development and capture teams prioritize and manage pursuits effectively.

Key capabilities

Waterfall and Pipeline Value Over Time

These charts provide the same insights as the Workspace Dashboard but are automatically filtered to the selected pipeline.

This allows you to analyze pipeline health at the individual pipeline level.

Segments

Segments allow you to create reusable filtered views of your pipeline.

For example, you can:

  • Exclude exploratory opportunities

  • Focus only on qualified pursuits

  • View opportunities for a specific agency, contract vehicle, or capture owner

Segments help teams focus on actionable subsets of the pipeline.

Funnel Metrics

Funnel Metrics display the count and total value of opportunities in each stage.

This helps you:

  • Identify bottlenecks

  • Monitor opportunity progression

  • Evaluate stage distribution

Custom Breakdowns

Custom Breakdowns allow you to analyze pipeline data using any categorical field.

Examples include:

  • Agency

  • Contract Vehicle

  • Capture Owner

  • Customer

  • Custom fields

Custom fields created by your organization are fully supported.
