Setting a default pipeline ensures NextStage automatically opens your preferred pipeline when you navigate to the Pipelines page.

Method 1: Set Default Pipeline from the Pipeline Page

Step 1: Locate the Star Icon

Navigate to Pipelines.

Find the star icon to the left of the pipeline name at the top of the page.

Step 2: Click the Star Icon

Click the star icon.

The star will turn yellow, indicating that pipeline is now your default.

NextStage will automatically open this pipeline when you visit the Pipelines page.

Method 2: Set Default Pipeline from Manage Pipelines

Step 1: Open Manage Pipelines

Click Manage Pipelines in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select the Default Pipeline

In the Manage Pipelines window, click the star icon next to the pipeline you want to set as default.

This pipeline will now be your default pipeline.

Set a Default Pipeline View (Optional)

You can also set a default Pipeline View.

If you have a saved view selected when clicking the star icon, NextStage will set both the pipeline and the selected saved view as your default.

This means NextStage will automatically open:

  • Your selected pipeline

  • Your selected saved view

Summary

Setting a default pipeline allows you to:

  • Automatically open your preferred pipeline

  • Save time navigating between pipelines

  • Automatically load your preferred saved view (if selected)

This is especially useful if you regularly work in a specific pipeline or view.
