Pipeline settings allow you to update the pipeline name, define required opportunity fields, and manage tags.

Prerequisite

You must have Admin permissions to edit, clone, or delete pipelines.

Edit a Pipeline

Step 1: Open Manage Pipelines

Click Pipelines in the left navigation menu.

Then click Manage Pipelines in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select the Pipeline

In the Manage Pipelines window, click Manage next to the pipeline you want to edit.

This will open the pipeline settings window.

Step 3: Update Pipeline Settings

In the Edit Pipeline window, you can update the following:

Pipeline Name

Change the name of the pipeline to reflect its purpose, such as:

  • FY2026 Pipeline

  • Capture Pipeline

  • Proposal Pipeline

Opportunity Required Fields

Select fields that must be completed when creating or updating opportunities in this pipeline.

Example:

  • Award Date

This helps ensure consistent and complete opportunity data.

Opportunity Tags

Tags help categorize and prioritize opportunities.

Examples include:

  • High Priority

  • Strategic Bid

  • At Risk

  • Cyber

  • IT Services

You can add new tags or remove existing ones.

Step 4: Save Changes

Click Save to apply your updates.

Clone a Pipeline

To duplicate a pipeline structure and settings:

Click Clone Pipeline Settings

This creates a new pipeline with:

  • The same stages

  • The same required fields

  • The same tags

Opportunities are not copied.

This is useful for creating pipelines for new fiscal years or teams.

Delete a Pipeline

Step 1: Open Pipeline Settings

Click Manage Pipelines, then click Manage next to the pipeline.

Step 2: Delete the Pipeline

Click the red Delete Pipeline button.

Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Important Warning

Deleting a pipeline is permanent.

When you delete a pipeline:

  • All pipeline stages will be removed

  • Pipeline configuration will be deleted

  • This action cannot be undone

Make sure the pipeline is no longer needed before deleting it.

Summary

Pipeline settings allow you to:

  • Rename pipelines

  • Define required opportunity fields

  • Manage opportunity tags

  • Clone pipelines for reuse

  • Remove pipelines that are no longer needed
