The Opportunity will appear as a new card in your Pipeline.

Method 2: Add an Opportunity from Search

You can also create an Opportunity directly from a solicitation or award identified in the Search section.

This method allows you to quickly create Opportunities using real government procurement data.

To add an Opportunity from Search:

  1. Navigate to the Search section under Market Research

  2. Select a solicitation or award from the search results

  3. Click the Add to Pipeline button

NextStage will automatically create a new Opportunity and populate available information, such as:

  • Opportunity Name

  • Agency

  • Solicitation Number

  • NAICS Code

  • Set-Aside status

  • Other available procurement details

This reduces manual data entry and ensures accurate Opportunity records.

Viewing Opportunity Details

Once created, the Opportunity will appear as a card in your Pipeline. Click the card at any time to:

  • View Opportunity details

  • Assign capture team members

  • Add notes and documents

  • Track capture progress

  • Manage scoring and updates

Maintaining Opportunities in your Pipeline ensures full visibility into your capture and proposal lifecycle.

Best Practices

It is recommended to add Opportunities as early as possible in the capture lifecycle. This allows your team to:

  • Track pipeline growth

  • Assign ownership

  • Monitor capture progress

  • Support bid/no-bid decisions

  • Maintain accurate capture records

Using the Search integration is the fastest way to create Opportunities while ensuring accurate government procurement data.
