Edit a Custom Template

Use the template configuration to edit a custom template.

You can now edit a custom template from the manage your custom template area.

To edit your custom template:

  1. Click the Direct Debits tab on the left hand side.

  2. Select File Upload.

  3. Click Manage Templates.

  4. Find the custom template from the Search Bar or Table

  5. Click in the Pencil Icon under Actions.


Template Configuration

Within this area, you can change the following:

  • Template Name

  • Action Type

  • Template Type

  • File Header


Column Configuration

Available columns include:

  • Additional Reference

  • Customer Reference

  • Direct Debit Reference

  • Comment

Hover and click over an column title to drag and drop from Available Columns to Selected Columns.

The Available Columns include mandatory fields:

  • Amount

  • Date

Hover and click over a column title to reorder the fields in the Selected Columns.

To create a gap between the Selected Columns, click on Add Ignore Column.

To remove fields from the Selected Column, hover over the column title and click on the back arrow, to move the field back to the Available Column.

To save the custom template, click on Update Template.

šŸ“ŒNote: You may only use either a Direct Debit Reference, Additional Reference or Customer reference to save the edited template.
