Date rule and schedule fixes

Resolve upload problems related to date rules, lead times and invalid or missing schedule names.

Written by Gemma Langley

These occur when date‑based rules or scheduling requirements are not met, such as selecting a first collection date that is too soon, using a date outside allowed rules or referencing a schedule name that does not exist or does not exactly match system records.

Customer upload fix: First Direct Debit collection date

Error message - First DD collection date must be minimum of x working days from today’s date.

You must allow the minimum required working days before the contract start date.

  • Refer to the date calculator to find the earliest possible contract start date.

  • You can input any date either on or after this date, as long as it is a permitted collection date on your account

  • Input your selected date in column W, in the format DD/MM/YYYY ensuring if this is a rolling or fixed schedule that the corresponding Day and Month are put in columns V and U respectively.

Customer upload fix: Schedule name

Error message - Schedule Name ‘xxxxx’ does not exist.

If you encounter the error above when uploading a customer CSV file, check the schedule names available on your account. To do this, click Create Contract and select Choose a schedule to view the available schedule names.

You must enter the schedule name under column S 'Schedule. Name' of the upload template and it must match exactly with no extra spaces or characters.
