FAQ
I just moved a candidate to a status that means I should have received a job closure notification, why haven’t I gotten an email yet?
Our platform will look at your job posting overnight and email you in the morning about any jobs that are ready to be closed. This means you won’t receive an immediate email once your job closure conditions are met.
Why don’t I see all of my statuses in the job closure notification creation window?
We do not include any statuses that are “archived” statuses in that window.
This is because we want to help you count candidates who are still actively engaged in the hiring process.
This also means we do not count any candidates in archived statuses when determining if the conditions of your job closure notification have been met.
What does “reached or passed” a status mean?
We count all candidates who are either in the status you specified or have made it past that point but are still engaged in the hiring process.
For example:
Let’s say you configure your job closure notification so you are notified when 2 candidates have reached or passed the status Resume Review.
You have one candidate in Hired (a status that comes after Resume Review) and just received a new candidate in Resume Review.
You will receive a job closure notification because you have 2 candidates who have reached or passed the status Resume Review, even though only one candidate is actually in Resume Review.
Who can create a job closure notification? Who can receive a job closure notification?
Only Super Admins and District Admins can create and receive a job closure notification.
This is because these are the only user types that can 1) edit a job posting and 2) close a job posting to new applicants.
