Overview

Each user can set immediate, daily and weekly notifications for a handful of features within Nimble. From status updates to tagged notes, users will now receive an email notification based on their set preferences for these notifications. For information on reference completed notification, click here.

Setting up a notification

Users can set up notifications from the setting page. To access settings, navigate to the top right corner of the page, click your name and select Settings from the drop down menu.

Notifications is the first section you will see on the Settings page. Click the +New Notification button on the top right to create a new notification.

Notification types

By default all user types will have immediate notifications set up for new job postings, tasks assigned and notes they are tagged in. If preferred, you do have the ability to adjust these notifications to make them daily or weekly digests as well.

District Users and School Admin also have the ability to set status change notifications for the schools they are associated with.

Frequency

Users can determine when they want to receive the email for each notification type. Based on your preference, notifications can be received either immediately, daily or weekly. If you set an immediate notification, you will receive a notification as soon as the action is completed within Nimble. If you set the frequency to daily digest, you will receive one email with all the notification at the end of each work day. If you set the frequency to weekly digest, you will receive a notification on Monday mornings.

Notification emails

Users will receive these notifications via email. Most notifications will include links that direct the user to the relevant section within Nimble. If users ever want to make edits to their settings, they have the ability to do so by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.
