Overview

Super Admin can create an unlimited number of tasks to help admin users and candidates keep track of their to do’s.

Creating tasks

As a Super Admin, navigate to the Settings page in the dropdown menu under your name in the top right corner of the site.

Scroll toward the bottom of the page, where you will see a section called “Tasks” and click the green “+Task” button.

Name your task (example: Review candidate application)

Assign a due date (example: 3 days after the candidate is moved to the trigger status)

Assign the task to a user. For assignees, you have the ability to select the candidate and/or multiple internal users. You can also leave the assignee blank.

Next you will set a trigger status, like Resume Review. This means that the tasks will be triggered any time a candidate is moved into the Resume Review status.

Click the Create Task button to save the task. You also have the ability to edit or delete this task at any time.

Viewing and completing tasks

Once a candidate is moved to the trigger status in Nimble, the task will show on the candidate’s quick view or full profile.

To mark the task as complete, click the circle. Once the task has been completed, you will see a green check mark, the name of the user that completed the task and the completion date.

If a user is assigned to a task and a candidate is moved into the trigger status for that task, the assignee will also see the task at the bottom of their home page when they log into Nimble. The user can complete this task from the home page or the candidate’s quick view/profile.

Candidate tasks

For candidates, their assigned tasks will show on their dashboard when they log into their Nimble account. Just like internal users, candidates can complete the task by clicking the circle. For candidate-assigned tasks, admin users can also add directions to advise them on the details of each task.

Note: For status steps where tasks are assigned to the candidate, we suggest adding an associated email template instructing candidates on how to log into their Nimble dashboard (visit app.hirenimble.com) and complete their tasks. No default email will be sent when candidates are assigned tasks -- we leave this at the discretion of each organization.

Filtering by task status

Lastly, users can filter for tasks on the candidate list. To do so, navigate to the candidate list and click the task dropdown on the filter sidebar. You will see a list of the tasks with the option to filter for complete or incomplete status. Filtering for incomplete tasks is a great way to quickly identify tasks you may need to take action on!
