Overview

Nimble Candidate Insights (NCI) is AI-driven assistance to help you and your team hone in on top teacher candidates as quickly as possible in the screening process. Based on months of collaboration with expert researchers, Nimble has developed a proven methodology that helps you quickly identify the teacher candidates most likely to drive student learning and stay longer in classrooms.

Enabling NCI (District and Super Admin)

When posting a job, be sure to accurately categorize the role type so that candidates are prioritized accordingly.

Additionally, the Work Experience section will need to be enabled in the Application Section Settings for a given role in order for NCI to be applied.

Top Candidates

When NCI is enabled, all users will see a Top Candidates section on the home page as soon as they log into Nimble. Top Candidates are in the top 20% of likely high performing teachers and as mentioned we recommend screening them as quickly as possible. Top Candidates are marked with a gold star throughout Nimble. Those flagged as high retention potential and denoted with the purple continuity symbol are also in the top 20% in terms of likely longevity in the role they’ve applied for.

Once a Top Candidate is screened (advanced or archived) they will no longer show on the Home Page, but they can always be found in the candidate list.

Bottleneck Notifications

From the home page, we recommend screening Top Candidates as quickly as possible. We also recommend quickly resolving any bottleneck notifications where Top Candidates are flagged so that you don’t lose high-potential applicants in the screening process.

Candidate List Prioritization

Candidate lists in Nimble will now be ordered from top to bottom in order of predicted classroom performance, with a gold star denoting the top 20% of applicants and a purple continuity symbol denoting those candidates likely to be retained in classrooms longer. We recommend ensuring that candidates at the top of your list are screened as quickly as possible.

Notifications

By default, all users will receive a notification any time a new top candidate enters the pool. For Super Admin, District Admin and District Users the notification goes out when the candidate submits their application. For School Admin the notification is triggered when the top candidate is moved to the Screened Hiring Pool (or the first status they have access to).
